Molecular genetics

The molecular genetics laboratory carries out DNA analyses using classical (e.g. Sanger sequencing) methods. (e.g. Sanger sequencing and MLPA) and state-of-the-art (e.g. NGS) methods.

Tumour genetics

Tumour genetics uses state-of-the-art molecular and cytogenetic methods to detect genetic changes that are relevant for confirming the diagnosis and optimising therapy.

Cytogenetics

The cytogenetics laboratory performs analyses at the chromosomal and molecular cytogenetic level using classical and state-of-the-art molecular cytogenetic methods including array CGH.

Pregnancy screening

Clinical biochemical laboratory tests are carried out as part of pregnancy screening.

(With the exception of examinations according to GOP 32860 Factor V Leiden mutation, GOP 32861 Prothrombin G20210A mutation, GOP 32863 MTHFR mutation, GOP 32864 Haemochromatosis, GOP 32865 Determination of CYP2D6 metabolisation status).
